Angel Card Message: The Wheel - Card 10 (positive changes and movement)

The Wheel.  The Wheel of Fortune.  Good news is on the way.  Events and circumstances going your way.  A picking up of the pace after a time of stillness. Positive changes.  A relationship or situation suddenly moving forward.  The gift of inspiration about the future.  Unexpected events are revealed for you to see the beauty in a new direction.

As you can see from this short, yet powerful introductory passage there is a huge abundance of forward movement with this card.  I have yet to do a reading for someone where this card is not welcome.

Were You Raised to Think You Must Struggle in Order to Deserve Happiness?

Most people today worry about their finances, their purpose, their peace of mind, their jobs, finding meaning in retirement or cultivating a healthier lifestyle overall. Ironically, there is still a strong connection to suffering that precedes any type of happiness.

The mindset has been hard-wired into most of us that suffering, complaining, struggling and the like must be in equal proportion or higher than our connection to joy, laughter and good times.

We must work hard and struggle in order to “deserve” a better lot in life. Sound familiar?

Beware Destination Addiction!

Ahhhh... destinations!  So enticing. So addicting.  The more exotic the better, too. What could be more thrilling than an exciting getaway for a couple of weeks? New locale. New foods. New sights. New sounds. Excursion possibilities galore. Not having to worry about who is fixing meals--it's already prepared for you! The mental check-list starts tick, tick, ticking away. Camera. Phone. Charger. Clothes. Accessories. Money. Passport. Airline Tickets. Car rental or maintenance on current vehicle if it's a driving journey. Hats. Toiletries. Backpack. Reading material. Several styles of shoes (because you never know.) Swimsuit. Jacket. Gloves. Scarf... Depending on the destination our minds are feverishly imagining ourselves already there and going about our day.

Holy Cats...?!?

Touring the Mediterranean's Ancient World, one expects to see temples, ruins, tombs, columns, stone walkways, old ceramic pots, statues and the like.  Not to disappoint--you will see all of these amazing, awe-inspiring artifacts and structures.  If you are like me, this is a huge anticipation point.  I fell in love with the Ancient World's lore and beauty back in my college days during several Humanities courses.
